About Us

Cosyplay Ltd is a young business founded and run by Dr Kerstin Castle.

Kerstin is a mother of three happy energetic boys and a wonderfully calm  baby girl, who invented the cosyplay mat when she was on maternity leave with her third son Luca.  Like many babies Luca hated “tummy time”, until Kerstin developed the cosyplay mat.  And now at two and a half – way past the tummy time stage – he still spends lots of his play time on the cosyplay mat driving diggers and generally rolling about.

Having an in-depth understanding of chemistry means, that Kerstin is able to understand the scientific facts about chemicals in baby products.  Cosyplay products have been developed beyond the safety standards required by British and European law. 

Our truly innovative products use the most suitable high tech materials to create a happy and healthy environment for babies and their family.

Did I mention we are fanatical about quality and safety?  The only way in which we could assure the quality we desire was to manufacture in the UK.  This way we are also able to support local businesses, carry out checks on suppliers in person and avoid transporting goods around a world.  

 

Patent Pending

Prior to founding cosyplay Ltd, Kerstin was an innovation manager for the NHS, helping doctors and nurses  to develop their ideas into commercial products.  Cosyplay mats are protected by intellectual property rights and should not be copied by others.   We advise customers to not accept cheap imitations.
